Our studio

Functional furniture and wall art, cut from solid hardwood

Decor began in a single workshop with one goal: to make CNC woodwork that works in a real home. Each piece is designed on screen, cut on our machines, and finished by hand in the same studio where it was made.

We work only with solid timber, so every shelf, panel, and table shows true grain rather than a printed or veneered surface.

How it is made

Three stages from drawing to finished piece

01

Digital design drafting

Every piece begins as a precise digital drawing. We set dimensions, joinery, and cut paths before any timber is touched, so each part fits the next.

02

Multi-axis CNC milling

Our machines cut each profile to the drawing. Tool paths are checked against the grain direction to reduce tear-out and keep edges clean.

03

Hand oil sealing

Each piece is sanded by hand along its edges and sealed with a natural oil finish. The surface stays open to the touch and easy to care for.

Material standard

Walnut, white oak, and ash, chosen for how they behave

Walnut is our darkest and most even timber, with a tight, consistent grain that suits wall art and statement pieces. It machines cleanly and holds fine detail along thin profiles.

White oak is strong and stable, making it the choice for furniture that carries load. Ash is lighter and more open in grain, giving everyday pieces a bright, calm surface. Every species is sourced as solid hardwood, responsibly harvested, and never backed with artificial veneers.
